The Scholarship Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation was formed for three primary purposes; to recognize and reward superior academic achievement, to provide financial assistance to worthy members, and to give DKE a recruiting tool. The application for tax exempt status has been filed with the IRS and recognition is expected before the end of 2014.
The University of Texas is an excellent institution and everybody who is admitted is capable of high academic achievement, but living in Austin is not cheap. Several of our chapter members are working their way through school and are feeling a financial strain. The strain is a problem and hurts their academic performance. Contributions to the Omega Chi DKE Scholarship Association will be used judiciously to help worthy students. The Scholarship fund can also be used in other ways such as graduate study, tutors, and other ways. Contributions to the Scholarship Association are encouraged and appreciated. If you are considering a major memorial endowment or anonymous contribution, please let us know and we will arrange for confidentially.

Many of the active members need summer jobs or internships. If any alumni are looking for capable and motivated help, please get in touch. Many of the undergraduates, like most of the alumni when they were undergraduates, are grappling with career choices. Alumni mentors can be a valuable help. If you are willing to provide an ear to young men who may be looking for information on what life after college is like, again please let us know.
